Dr. Kironbala Arora, Hon. Associate Professor, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, and former Warden, Sri Sathya Sai Women's Hostel, Anantapur Campus (2013-2016), was born in the city of Kanpur. Her parents moved from Lahore to Punjab during the partition. As her father's job involved regular transfer posting, she attended schooling in various cities like Pune, Agra, Gorakhpur and Ambala.
Her family came into Swami's fold in 1969 when they were stationed at the Agra Air Force Camp.
Having had her first darshan of Bhagawan in 1970, she later insisted on studying in Bhagawan's college for women at Anantapur after completing her schooling in 1974.
Ever since, the reins of her life has been in the Divine Hands. A very active contributor in many spheres of activities on the Campus as a student and as a faculty member, Dr Arora has been a part of several plays enacted in the Divine Presence. She was also a clarinet player in the first Ladies' Band at Prashanti Nilayam during Bhagawan's 50th Birthday. She is an active yoga practitioner, a versatile artist, and above all, an inspiring teacher. Dr. Arora continues to invest her time and energy in helping the young minds stay focused on Bhagawan and His vision.
