Lead Singers to be present at the venue at least 10 mins before
the start of the Bhajan, after the Bhajan starts no one will try
to rush forward to sit in the front rows, be it convener,office
bearer, lead singer or any other.

Bhajans have to be sung and offered to God in an attitude of humility;
they are not to be taken as exercises in an exhibition of talents
and as a competition of musical skills. They have to please the
Lord and not your fans.

“ Pay attention to the tune,meaning, variety, the voice,the
raga,the tala and other finer points of the Bhajan.Melody must emerge
from the heart from genuine love . -Baba.

Sing familiar bhajans, so that all can follow and share the Ananda.

“Do not monopolise the time in Bhajan by singing one song
for six to ten minutes, repeating the same line again and again.

Don’t take an alap nor recite a Shloka before starting,in
the middle or in the end of the Bhajan.

The words, tune and the rythyms of the bhajan must not be altered.

The SarvaDharma Prayer and the Arati must be sung in medium speed
throughout.

In case a lead singer while singing a bhajan, misses the words or
goes out of tune, another singer should help him/her to complete
the bhajan rightly. The gents should not render help to the ladies
and vice versa.

Do not sway your body like a pendulum or clap out of tune with others.
Maintain perfect silence and restrict your movements to minimum
while sitting. Exercise self control.

“Have the Bhajan as simple as you can without competitive
pomp and show. Reduce your expenses to a minimum.

“I do not heed to Bhajans which like a gramophone record,
produce songs and Naamavalis, without any feeling or yearning while
singing- Name of the Lord must be recited with full feeling of awe,wonder,humility
and reverence.

Let your whole life be like a Bhajan. Believe that God is everywhere
at all times and derive strength,comfort and joy by singing His
name in His Presence .- Baba.

The Singers are interested in others and what is happening around.Their
mind is distracted. They should sing with one pointed attention
and Bhava .- Baba.

People should return from the Bhajan carrying the elevated, uplifted
and sublime mood created by the spiritually charged atmosphere.
Therefore, after the Bhajan people should disperse quietly maintaining
silence.
