Narayan Seva In Mumbai

The best type of seva is feeding the poor and hungry people, who have never had in their lives the joy of eating a full meal. This is not mere charity. It is offering gratitude to God for giving us a chance to be of help to one's fellow men, who are all God's forms. It is an inner urge to experience kinship.

Sri Sathya Sai Annapurna Scheme

Annam Bharma - Food is God and hence it must be shared with one and all. It is essential to humanity that everyone has food to eat. Giving food to the hungry is the basis of the Sri Sathya Sai Annapurna Scheme. Swami says that no person must sleep on a empty stomach. Feeding the hungry is offering naivedyam to God, who is present in all.

Sri Sathya Sai Annapurna Scheme has target to provide nutritious meal to the needy and hungry, for example in the Adivasi villages of Maharashtra. This Scheme comes under the umbrella of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Maharashtra and will be implemented by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Maharashtra.

A corpus has been created for this scheme to enable this scheme to become an ongoing scheme.
