On the first day, i.e 7th May 2004, a blood donation drive was conducted in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, which had deputed its 10 member team, for the entire day. The Blood donation drive was conducted with an aim to provide the city of Mumbai an adequate supply of blood during the summer months when typically the city's blood banks run dry of blood.

This was a very successful drive, as the Blood Bank collected 110 bottles of blood. On the second day, i.e. 8th May, 2004, a Diabetes and Hypertension Detection camp was conducted in association with St. George's Hospital, Mumbai.

Diabetes and Hypertension are silent and deadly killers among the citizens of Mumbai. Most people are not aware regarding the dangers of these diseases and the methods in which they manifest. This medical camp aimed at providing a spot detection mechanism for these diseases as well as to spread awareness regarding the dangers of these diseases. There were serpentine queues right from the beginning of the camp. As part of medical awareness, tips on controlling Hypertension and diabetes were printed on pamphlets and distributed. A total of 460 people were examined on this day for Diabetes and Hypertension.

The Sri Sathya Sai Books and Publications Trust had also set up a book stall on both these days at Churchgate Station, which also got a good response from the people passing through Churchgate Station.

The proceedings of the medical camp were covered in "The Morning Quick" and "The Afternoon" newspapers in Mumbai. This was also broadcasted in some of the channels of All India Radio - Akashwani programs.
